THE CHARTER PRICE DOESN’T CHANGE WITH US
If you are pretty new to the industry, you might wonder how does it work and what’s the difference to charter with a company or another? Well, it is simple.
We are charter brokers, which means that we work with all of the relevant central charter agents, fleet managers, and owner-operators to find you the right yacht for you.
The charter price does not change if you work directly with the manager or with a broker. Any commissions are already calculated in the price, so nothing is added on for you, the client. This is industry standard, making it the same price to any broker, including the central agent who manages the yacht.
HOW TO MAKE A START?
It’s a simple process! You just have to tell us what kind of vessels you will be most attracted such as sailing or motor yachts, how many passengers and where you would be interested to charter. You will also have to let us know your budget so that we will share some options of yachts available and that match with your requests. To make it easier, we have created a simple form that will answer most of the key questions and will help us start, so click here to start.
Do note, charter fees will not include what we call the Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) which are things like fuel, harbour moorings, food and beverages and which are based on your bespoke charter. It represents usually 30% of the charter fee but it will be based on your selection.
Once the charter booked, we will ask you to complete a preference form where you will be able to mention all your preferences such as culinary preferences or any special dietary requirements, beverages, newspapers, flowers or other special arrangements that you would like to have.
At the end of the charter, VS Yachts will check and let you know the total APA spent during the time on board and if anything left over, we will refund you.
